Planning Your Trip

Transportation

The Minneapolis-St.Paul Airport (MSP) is the closest airport to Oak Ridge. All attendees are responsible for arranging and paying for travel from MSP to Oak Ridge. Some options for transportation to Oak Ridge include:

Meals

Oak Ridge provides a locally sourced menu and can accommodate those with dietary restrictions. Included in the cost of attendance are all meals (full breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks). For those arriving Wednesday night for the Summit, dinner is included, and will be served until 9pm.

What to Bring

  • While not required, past attendees have found a laptop or tablet useful during the trainings.
  • Summer in Minnesota can be warm but evenings can be cool. Please bring layers.
  • Oak Ridge includes 130 acres, and there will be many opportunities to get outside. In addition, social events will be held outside in the evenings.

Cancellations

All event cancellations must be communicated directly to Sarah Cohen (sfcohen@umn.edu). Refunds will only be granted up to 30 days prior to the start of an event. Registration fee of $25/day is non-refundable.
