TARDIS Headshots

This TARDIS folder sends web-ready headshots directly to the People Tool application. The images are then available through a “smart” drop-down menu when editing a profile. The drop down is smart because it only shows images that match the last name of the profile you are editing.

Shut up! No, you shut up! It works because we have been diligent about naming with the last name first!

Remember! Use only .jpg files cropped to 150 px x 225 px, and RGB colorspace. A profile may display in multiple departments and centers, this consistent sizing allows for efficient re-use.

The file name is important!

The headshot needs to start with the last name of the person, the people tool looks for the last name as a match to the profile. We recommend using last name, first initial, and then the year the headshot was taken.
Like this:

  • AbuzzahabJ-2017-06-12.jpg (or)
  • AbuzzahabJeff-2017.jpg
You can use the first name for people with common last names… like me!

Two last names?

Say my last name was Abuzzahab Garfunkel, use both without a space or hyphen when naming the headshot file.
